Leigh Hogan owned and operated Leigh A Hogan CPA, P.C. for 21 years, and then sold the firm to her long-time employees Carol Thompson and Robin Ortiz in January 2017.  She has continued working for Hogan, Thompson & Associates CPA, P.C. on a part-time basis.  Her passion for both the accounting business and her long-time clients is the driving factor that has kept her working in the business.

 

Leigh’s prior accounting experience before starting her own firm was spent in live music entertainment accounting as the Controller for Fey Concert Company for 17 years.  The experience that those years provided her were very influential in her ability to start her accounting firm with a core clientele comprised of businesses and individuals in the live music entertainment industry.  As the firm evolved, clientele became more diversified to include small businesses in many different areas, including welders, physicians, attorneys, and more.

 

Leigh is a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado.  Leigh obtained her BS in Accounting from Metropolitan State College of Denver, and her MS in Accounting from University of Colorado at Denver.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of CPAs. 

 

When not at work she loves to spend time at her mountain cabin with her husband Cal and her Golden Retriever, Quinn.
